Our Story
Dallas Music Teacher was founded in 2008 with a simple but powerful idea: every person who wants to learn music deserves access to expert, personalized instruction — regardless of their age, background, or natural ability.
What started as a single teacher offering piano and guitar lessons in a Dallas home studio has grown into a full-service music school serving hundreds of students across the DFW metroplex. We teach piano, guitar, drums, voice, violin, bass guitar, and ukulele to students ages 5 through adult — in-person at our Dallas studio and online via Zoom.
Our philosophy has never wavered: music education must be personalized, patient, and genuinely fun. We hire teachers who are both technically excellent and naturally inspiring. We build curricula around each student's goals and musical passions. And we measure success not just by technique, but by whether students leave each lesson excited to practice and come back for more.

With a degree in Music Education from [University] and 15+ years as both a performer and educator, I founded Dallas Music Teacher in 2008 with one goal: create the kind of music school I wished had existed when I was learning to play.
I've personally taught over 300 students — from 5-year-olds taking their first piano lessons to adults finally pursuing a lifelong dream. I believe deeply that music education is one of the most valuable investments any family can make in a child's development.
When I'm not teaching, you'll find me performing locally with my band or spending time in the Dallas community I've called home for over two decades.
